Here at Pasturegreen, we only breed with the view of keeping the pick of the litter for ourselves to hopefully show and work and possibly later breed from. We try very hard to use good quality stud dogs on our bitches in order to hopefully produce good quality Bernese puppies, with excellent temperaments and to breed standard. We are looking to produce, big, solid Bernese with plenty of bone, who can do a good days work but have a gentle giant temperament.
As the only Kennel Club Accredited Breeder in England who rear Bernese puppies with young children, our puppies are sort after by families all over the UK. we ensure that our puppies are raised to a very high standard in a home environment and that they leave us happy, healthy and confident.
Every puppy that we sell we keep in contact with that family and ask for regular photos of the puppy for our litter showcases. Every family who owns a Pasturegreen puppy automatically becomes part of our extended family, Team Pasturegreen. During the year we like to encourage our families to attend Bernese club fun and working events with an aim of getting our litters reunited.
For us we want every one of our Bernese to be a joy to own over that Bernese's lifetime so it's in our best interest to help, support, encourage and guide all our families to ensure that this happens. We are always there for our families and those who have our puppies end up becoming good friends of ours.
Each of our litters from 2009 can be followed from the day each puppy was born to the present day. Everyday from the day the puppies are born, to the day that they leave us at 8 weeks, we photograph them and create an eight week diary of the litter. Once the puppies leave us we have a litter showcase for the litter where we ask each family to send in monthly photos of their Bernese for the first year and then quarterly thereafter.
